Enjoy a straightforward circular work, to visit the church of Aghios Konstantinos, a remarkable, beautiful spot especially on its celebration day where everyone on the island gathers for the feast.

This is a nice fairly straightforward circular route walk.

Starting from the walkers shelter at Melagakia and follow path 13, we come to Xouria, where we see an old “Alonni” (threshing) area.

Passing a few old houses we continue down the side of the hill to the church of Aghios Konstantinos. This place really comes alive on the name day of Kostas, Konstadina and Eleni, where everyone is celebrating on the hills. You will also find a natural spring here and -as usual- many goats.

We continue up the steep hill until we find the main path. There we turn left and follow it around before it goes past a picnic table. This will lead you to a graveled parking area, where you will find the church of Aghios Georgios.

From here you proceed back along the road to Melagakia.
