Diese Wanderung beginnt am Rande von Alonnisos, in der ländlichen Bucht von Gerakas. Nachdem Sie abgesetzt wurden, beginnen Sie eine 5 km lange Wanderung zum Gipfel.
Sie fahren den ersten halben Kilometer auf der Straße, bevor Sie auf eine der alten Straßen abbiegen, die durch die Olivenhaine ansteigen. Auf Ihrem Weg kommen Sie an einer alten Olivenpresse und einigen unbewohnten Häusern vorbei und Sie werden sicher viele Ziegen begleiten, die hier herumlaufen!
Nachdem Sie den Gipfel erreicht haben, folgen Sie der asphaltierten Straße in Richtung Dhiaselo und biegen dann ab in Richtung des neuen Stausees. Dort nehmen Sie eine andere alte Straße, die hinunter nach Agios Dimitrios führt. Dieser Abschnitt bietet spektakuläre Ausblicke auf den Meerespark und die umliegenden Inseln.
In Agios Dimitrios angekommen, können Sie ein kühlendes Bad nehmen und Ihr Picknick-Mittagessen genießen.
Von hier aus können Sie auf der Straße in Richtung des Hafens von Kalamakia (ca. 2 km) weitergehen, wo diese malerische Wanderung endet.
Bevor Ihr Transport Sie zurück nach Patitiri bringt, können Sie sicher noch einen schönen kühlen Drink genießen!
