Ein kleiner Strand bei Strovili führt zum Grund der Schlucht.
Von hier aus führt eine zerklüftete, 4 km lange natürliche Schlucht hinauf in das Gebiet von Dhiaselo, das sich in der Nähe des neuen Stausees befindet. Auf dem Weg nach oben müssen Sie über einige Felsbrocken klettern, aber das sollte für einen fitten Wanderer kein Problem darstellen.
Vom Gipfel aus können Sie wählen, ob Sie die Wanderung an der Spitze der Schlucht beenden und sich von dort abholen lassen wollen, oder ob Sie einen Rundweg zurück nach unten machen wollen. Fußweg 11 und genießen Sie dabei atemberaubende Ausblicke auf Peristera, den Meerespark und die umliegenden Inseln. Dies bringt Sie zurück in die Nähe des Ausgangspunkts auf der Halbinsel Aghios Dimitrios.
Sie können die Wanderung auch in umgekehrter Richtung beginnen und die Schlucht hinuntergehen, aber viele finden es einfacher für die Knie, den Weg hinaufzugehen.
Dies ist eine kurze Beschreibung dieser beliebten Wanderung. Eine Wanderkarte und ein Wanderbuch wären eine nützliche Ergänzung.
