Fahren Sie den steilen Hügel an der Seite des Museums hinauf und nehmen Sie die asphaltierte Straße in Richtung Marpounta.
Ca. 2 km danach zweigt die Straße nach rechts ab und wird zu einem Feldweg. Folgen Sie dem angenehmen Weg hinunter zum Strand von Megalos Mourtias, dem perfekten Ort für ein kühles Bad und ein erfrischendes Getränk.
Nachdem Sie Ihre Pause genossen haben, fahren Sie 500 m weiter die Straße hinauf, bevor Sie nach rechts abbiegen, um eine alte, stillgelegte Straße zu nehmen, die Sie in Serpentinen hinauf zum alten Eselspfad führt. Dies war ein traditioneller Weg, der von den Einheimischen benutzt wurde, um mit Eseln von der Altstadt nach Patitiri hinunter zu kommen und die am Hafen ankommenden Waren zurück ins Dorf zu tragen. Von hier aus sind es nur noch 500 m die Straße hinauf, bis Sie die Altstadt erreichen.
Nehmen Sie sich Zeit, um die schöne Siedlung mit ihren engen Gassen, malerischen Häusern und atemberaubenden Aussichten zu erkunden.
Von hier aus haben Sie die Möglichkeit, ein Taxi oder den Bus zu rufen, um zurück nach Patitiri zu fahren, oder einfach den Eselspfad zurückzulaufen, was Ihre Wanderung um weitere 2,5 km (ca. 40 Minuten) verlängert.
