Heading of from the charming small fishing port of Steni Vala, walk past the small beach in the port, taking a small “plaka” path leading you down to the rural bay of Agios Petros.
Cross the beach and you will find a path taking you up to a dirt road at the top. Follow this dirt road until you come across a walkers shelter. There, take the path leading up through the forest and when you come to a T-junction, turn right and then in the next junction turn left.
Follow the road round; you will pass a small building with a sign on it saying “Ikion Taverna”. Following this road along, you will soon pass a cottage and shortly afterwards you will find a path leading off to the right, down to Leftos Yialos beach, where you can enjoy a cooling swim.
